iPod Video leaked pic

Okay, okay, this seriously pushes the envelope on crappy leaked (and/or potentially ?shopped) photos for sure but, you know, why the heck not? This is supposedly a camphone shot of the mysterious, the elusive, the much-rumoured video iPod that may be announced as early as next week (grain of salt, disclaimer, yadda yadda). Make of this what you will, folks. What do you think ? plausible?

wouldn't surprise me... Apple seems to pwn early adopters of thier newest iPods.

if you buy an iPod you can count on the next gen iPod coming out within a couple weeks :disgust:

It's called innovation, get used to it.

:Q I'm fine with it. It's just as luck would have it, it seems like that is the case. Especially after a huge nano debut to bring this out might make some people sad 🙁

especially after Apple CEO just quoted and said their is no market for it...actually in that case it probably is true...just like google saying a future IM client was not going to happen (a day later gtalk was release )

Ohh I can see it now..
Who cares about scratches!! It's just a video player!! It's not like it's a museum peice. 😉

I would love if it would play all my movies (.avi's, divx, vcd, vue) That would be a lot of fun to haul the movie collection around and be able to plug it in to the nearest tely and watch some 😛

movies as in feature films 😱

so there

no i think he just thought it wasnt there yet or something.

and in a way its correct, you don't watch the same stuff over and over like u do with music. you can't do other things while watching video on a portable, and unlike music its a pain to setup. music is rip once and pain is over. tv is rip constantly so it would have to be automated pvr type software to make it as easy as possible.

I'm calling BS:

1) Stevo said there was no market for it. I don't think there's much market for it.
2) The image quality is p|ss poor
3) the screen doesn't even appear to be centralised (edge between top & bottom) ie makes it look 'chopped
4) I never believe any of the dodgy crap predictions that come out before an update

I agree with points 2,3, and 4. However I do think they'll be releasing a video version this time. Honestly who needs to carry 60 or 80 gigs of media content with them if it doesnt' include video?
