Alright, this just happened today. I always leave my usb cables plugged into my pc and I went to hook up my iPod today and I recieved that message that is posted in the title. I tried uninstallingd/reinstalling the iPod update and it didn't seem to work. The weird thing is, my other USB drives are working perfectly fine. I switched the USB slots around and they all seemed to work fine except the iPod one.
Is it possible that my cable is bad or do you think my iPod USB is bad? I haven't dropped my iPod or anything since the last time I charged it so I'm a bit confused as to what could be the problem.
Edit: Other people on the apple forums and another forum I go to seem to be having this same problem.
