Well, my 4-years-old 4th Generation iPod scroll wheel no longer work. The music can still be played and the other buttons work, but can't scroll...which almost makes it useless. So it's time to get a new player and I always wanted the Touch.
My understanding is that if you have the Touch previously, you'll have to pay to get the software update to 2.0, but what about the models that are in stores now? Do they come with 2.0 already or can you tell by just looking at the box?
