iPod Touch crashing problem

2.2 jailbroken, running Winterboard + Intelliscreen. It seems about once a week I'll encounter it dropping me back to the main menu randomly when I'm flicking thru albums in coverflow view. When this happens if i go back into coverflow it will keep doing it again within a 5-10 seconds until I reboot. Then I'm good for another week or so. I had reformatted thinking maybe I did something but the same problem pops up. I can go sometimes a week with on issues, once it comes up though without rebooting it happens a lot.
When it does this if I'm listening to music the music stops.

Google isn't helping, I'm wondering if this is a side effect of having a jailbroken 2.2 or I just have bad luck

Try unjailbreaking for a week and see if the problem is still there. I had crashes in winterboard also but not while listening to music.
