Ipod Shuffle question

I got a shuffle for christmass, im a newb btw, so anyway I started the ipod with the itunes and transferring music to it, but the big problem it only lets me put 15 songs in it. When i go to my computer it says i still have free space,?? Can anybody point me to the right direction, sorry if i posted in the wrong forum, thanks for your time and consideration greatly appreciated. THANKS. Also the songs i want to put in them are CD's that are mine, is not downloaded music.

I suppose the obvious question to get out of the way is...

how big is your file(s)?

how much "free space" is left?

i got the 500 mb one, and its supposed to hold 120 songs, Itunes is only letting me put 15, and when i go to my computer and right click on the ipod it says it has space left, but not itunes .

I gave up on wiamp, thats what i tried 1st, the thing is that sometimes the ipod is plug in and it doesnt recognize it. So I tried Itunes and it recognizes it everytime, but winamp, doesnt and i have to restart comps and plug it back in, it just gives me the run around.

did you use the latest version of the plugin? its been beta for several months

I tried the 1.30 one, thats u linked me too, thats the one i been using.
