Ipod Question

I am getting a new computer this week ( fresh HD ). After I install itunes, can I re-create the library by loading up what is already on the ipod ?

Or would I have to copy them down from my old HD?

I would think so, but so far I only know how to load them from itunes/HD --> ipod.

I am guessing they dont make this feature obvious to make people just go and spend more money on itunes...

There are a number of utilities that you can download to do this.

Ephpod was one I used in the past - I think it still works but not positive.

Like he said, Use EPHPOD. It works for my Ipod Nano, so it'll most likely work on any new gen or or previous gen Ipod. It has some other neat little features too.
