iPod question...

I was checking out prices for used iPod's on ebay, and noticed that 2nd generation models are a good deal cheaper than the 3rd gens... is there something about the 3rd gens that make them a lot better?

IMO they are actually worse ergonomically. The thing is, people want the latest and greatest. The 3rd gen ones are marginally smaller, but the only meaningful benefit IMO is that a lot of aftermarket accessories will only work with the new ones. Also, I believe the 3rd gen model comes with Sennheiser earbuds.
