I got a 4gen Ipod 20gig and it is giving me the dead battery and go figure, it's a beyond a year so no warranty. If I got the APP 2 year warranty for 50 bucks and just threw it on the serial code would the apple store grant my wishes and give me a new ipod? or at least replace the battery?
 
this worked for me before...but I am curious if anyone thinks it will again...haha maybe they changed there policy's?

or if anyone has any other ideas on how to fix a dead battary.
 
Take it to an apple store - I reckon the cost of replacing the battery will be less than an extended warranty
