Ipod Podcast skip sound during playback

Have had an odd problem surface recently that I can't diagnose. While listening to my daily podcast, I am getting audio glitches that sound like a record skip, or if you were playing a cd in the car and hit a hard bump. First I thought it was the pair of headphone I was using, then, maybe the ipod was going bad. As of now i've tried multiple headsets on two ipods and have it occurring on all combinations.

I've heard this too. It's annoying as hell. At first I thought it was the podcast's production, but I've heard it on multiple podcasts.
