You can look it up yourself. Click on the repair status link in the email you got acknowledging receipt of the unit for repair/replacement.

Or have you not got that either?

I haven't even gotten to the part where they ship me a box to return my first gen iPod to them. I thought that maybe I didn't file the request right so I tried again and it said the device was already requested and a shipping contained was coming....

So yeah, still have my old iPod sitting on my desk

Woohoo! I read some various boards the past couple of weeks and was resigned to the fact I'd be getting another 1st Gen Nano. What a surprise to find a 6th Gen in the box I got yesterday!

Edit: Nevermind, like a n00b I didn't use google at first, found it, my box is on its way I guess 😛

Got my shipping envelope! So I guess I'll see the new nano in Feb? 😀

I sent mine back on the 20th of December and am supposed to
receive the replacement this Friday so total time for return and
replacement is only 3 weeks. Pretty decent especially for the
holiday season...

Just got my package, and it is the newest silver Nano. The build quality is outstanding and the interface is pretty intuitive. I absolutely do not know what to do with this thing, as I got my phone as the main music player... 🙁 But I showed this device to my mother, and she fell in love with the device instantly. 😀 So I am just going to give it to her.

lol, nice. I know my wife likes to run with music and a smartphone for that purpose is pretty terrible since it's so bulky. I'm sure she'll find use for the new nano.

I hope so. I like my HTC Sensation's sound much more, especially when using PowerAmp. Fully adjustable Equalizer is just what I need for my hearing loss. ()🙂

I was cleaning out my emails and saw the email from apple about this.

I sold my 1gen nano to a friend of mine awhile back. she had the battery replaced on it last month because it wasn't charging anymore.

Does anyone know if this means I won't be able to exchange it for her? I think it would make it ineligible but want to make sure...
