unless it's strapped to your arm, don't run with it. I tried putting it in my pocket and it sucked ass...SKIP....SKIP.......PAUSE.................................................

I just bought a nano after breaking my regular ipod color in less than a year, using it twice a week at the gym for 2 hours.

I have an arm band for mine and it has been fine for over a year now for running and lifting.

The problem I see with ipod mini's in general when I work on them is that the Hitachi Microdrive & Seagate ST1 Microdrives is that they are so fragile. Such a small hard drive is bound to have problems sooner or later.
