I'm thinkin of buyin a mp3 player which costs round bout $200. Creative Muvo2 seems to have a very good signal to noise ratio, it has a really good battery life n the battery is replacable. The Ipod Mini has good interface but cost 50 bucks more.

What should I buy? Which sounds better??

both are rather good. question is if you've got 200+ dollar headphones + a headphone amp of quality enough to hear an actual difference between the two. i think your more likely to hear artifacts from compression before u do.

I got an iPod mini for my mom on mothers day and its pretty nice (I have a full-size one and love it). If I was buying one now though, I'd prolly try that muvo, the battery on the iPod is only good for about 7 hours (more then enough for my mom but not quite enough for me). The iPod mini is significantly smaller then the muvo but other then that, they seem pretty comparable.

ipod needs to be sent to the manufacturer to be repaired. muvo batteries can me changed manually.

i have sony fontopia earplugs. the sound rocks on my mpio mp3 player. so will it make a difference if i opt for any of the two players
