IPOD Management

I'm running WinXP, I have 3rd gen Ipod 15gb, and latest 4.6 iTunes.

When you connect your ipod, there is a little ipod icon in the bottom right corner of iTunes. Click on that and check "Only Update Checked Songs." Now when you sync, only the songs that you have checked will be transferred to your ipod.

you can also, under the ipod options, select to manage your ipod manually, which will allow you delete/add songs as you choose.
