on linux? I'm using xp, not that half finished beta os called linux:p (expecting a few words from linux fans :))

I don't see how it compares to the iPod. Sure it has a hard drive, but its pretty fugly looking. Looks like something an electrician would carry around.

Also, if it's an iPod killer cause it's got a 10gb HDD then just wait until Apple releases iPod's with 10 and 20 GB HDD's. The largest 1.8 (yes 1.8 inch!) HDD available when the iPod was released was 5GB, but recently 10 and 20 GB models are out. Hmmm... A 20GB iPod. Mmmmmm... Just wait until Toshiba figures out how to pack 30 or 40 gigs on a 1.8inch drive. :D

I just want the Jukebox itself. $400? That's not cheap to me. It also looks a lot heftier than the iPod.


No thanks. Give me something smaller and cheaper.

I saw one and was'nt impressed. The appeal of the iPod is it fits in my shirt pocket since its so slim line and lightweight. This model was bulky, big and heavy.
