Ipod Itouch Question

Ok im looking at itouches and on newegg i see these 2

One is with updates the other without updates. Can someone explain this to me because im not sure i understand the almost $100 diference. When i go to the apple home page there is a software 2.0 update for the itouch. It costs $10

So they are charging like 80 to 90 bucks extra to update it? or do i have to buy all the incremental updates?

I don't own a Touch but I've been following the updates pretty closely. You do not need to apply the update incrementally - you can just jump to 2.0.

I don't understand the pricing either except that Newegg is known to be very demand driven - presumably they are priced that way because consumers want the 2.0 version a lot more than the 1.1.4 version. I'd just buy the old one and update it.
