iPod Headphones

Question .... I am considering the following earphones:

Etymotic ER-6 Isolator Earphones
Shure E3c
Shure E2c
&
Etymotic ER-4

Has anyone used any of these. They are all pretty expensive so I want good reports on either one before i buy. Thanks

They're fairly expensive, yes? I wouldn't spend more than a few bucks; it's widely known that the iPods have bad sound quality, and even good headphones can only sound as good as the source.

I had something simular from Koss, spent a lot of $$$ and they would not fit in my ears correctly, I guess I have big holes. If I held them in they sounded great but I had to keep holding them or repushing them in. Too much hassle for me so I returned them. Even with all the extra sized cusions they just wouldnt fit right. So I bought the Bose Triports instead.
