So... I was wondering. I don't really feel like lugging around my laptop or even a ipad around on vacation...
Would an Ipod get me by? Seems small enough? I don't even want to bring my bulky camera. Even thinking I could use it for a GPS. So would a 32 gig be enough or is it worth an extra 90 bucks to double the memory? Would I really need it? I don't plan on watching movies on this, and I don't really plan on that much music since... well, most will be on the laptop anyway. Maybe a few gigs of music ... since that's what the Ipod is for. SPEAKING of music......Do I really need Itunes and will this thing transfer over all my mp3's? What about Flack? I have a few albums in that format. Not a fan of itunes tho I don't care really as long as it plays all my cd's that I ripped.
All I really need it for is to keep in touch, email, twitter etc...etc.. ya I know I gotta stop at starbucks or find an open wireless connection to get internet connection.
I've never had a the privilege of typing on an Ipod/Iphone how bad can it be? I'm not trying to write a book but just a few lines maybe.
Anyone just do this? If course I'll bring my laptop but it will mostly stay in the trunk till I get to a hotel.
