ipod fm connection

I'm trying to connect my ipod to my car stereo, which doesn't have an aux in or a cassette deck (cd only). Any one have good experiences with wireless transmitters like the irock? I wanted to try the itrip but i have a new ipod and it doesn't work with the dock connector yet. Another option is an fm modulator that is physically connected to the antenna input of my cd player, but I haven't found any in my local stores, and it's not clear to me how i will turn on and off the modulator. Advice/input requested...
