iPod earbuds suck

Of course they suck. This is the case with any audio player that you can buy, they'll include the crappiest headphones they can so you go out and spend more money on better ones.

It doesn't really help them though, they don't make money from you buying other peoples' phones.
 
yeah, why do they make them so big, and why does the stick on the back where the wire comes in stick out so much so you can't sleep on your side with them in. it's like nobody at apple actually tried them on
 
which is why they sell the canal headphones...so they can make more money cuz people will buy apple stuff to go with their apple player

People continue to wear them b/c if they take them off or change them, they won't have that "I have an iPod, look at me" thing going any longer.

They fit me rather comfortably for hours at a time, but thats just my luck.

I know the guy that is designing these, he acts like he's come up with a super novel idea. He's all afraid of someone ripping off his "design", although I pointed out that it's the same thing Radioshack has been selling for like 15 years now 😵

Comfort is very important when regarding headphones in general...even if a pair of phones had the best SQ but hurt like hell after a few minutes, I wouldn't like them at all.

I used to have an ipod shuffle, but it is gone and kept the earbuds with me. I have the sony fontopia ones and ipod ones.

actually, not only the comfort, but the SQ is not as good as my sony fontopia.

comfort > SQ. my ears got really hurt after wear it for awhile.
 
My etymotic ER-6i's are "iPod white"

a great match with my black Creative Zen Vision:M :thumbsdown:

nice SQ though... at least for non-amped entry-level canalphones

I changed to nicer headphones that don't have the "I have an iPod, look at me," does this make me strange?
