ipod connector for Touareg?

The standard radio on a VW Touareg (not the nav radio) has a CD changer setting. Is there a CD changer hookup somewhere I could just plug an ipod connector into without taking apart the dash or radio?

In my car I use a radio transmitter that connects to my power outlet in the car (the cig lighter). I like it because it has a little docking station for easy reading and access, I dislike it because you loose sound quality over the radio.

I would imagine the plug for the CD-Changer only plugs into a VW proprietary changer. I could be wrong, but that is how OEMs usually like to nickel and dime people. That being said, there are some FM transmitters out now that sound pretty good.

Crutchfield sells these iPod factory stereo adapters by the truckload! Just put in the year and model of your Touareg, and they'll show you the products that will work with your car.
