I was looking into buying a new iPod, but i was curious if the new ClickWheel design was any good.

Any iPod Mini users out there, how does the wheel work and is it netter/worse thatn touch wheel?

THanks,

I don't like the mini control. I have a 1G, 2G, and 3G iPod. My friend bought a mini and ... ick. I wish they had not changed it.

I like the touch whell too, i really only want the 4g becauz of the battery length (12 hour as opposed to 8). If the click weel is that badd, i might just buy a 4g siwth its battery with the one in my 3rdgen and resell the 4th genn as BRaND NEW.

LoL, that would be wrong tho.

i dont own any ipods or anything, but what upset me about the mini was that the buttons arent backlit.

so if the 4th gen ipod is adopting the mini's interaction interface, is it also not going to be backlit (nice way to save some $$ on their part)?

that would be bad.

those red keys give it character 🙂

Went to CompUSA and tried it out, id have to say this is the biggest mistake Apple has ever made, the all touch interface was def WAY better. And the buttons are not backlit. Both saved them money, whcih is why the new ones are $100 cheaper
