GF just got a new nano and has this other one lying around. The battery has really diminished over the years, but it works fine aside from that and a few scratches here and there from normal wear & tear.

Anyway, has anybody replaced their own?
I was looking at this site: ipods99

I'm an iRiver user, so I don't really know much about ipods.
any thoughts?

Yes, the non-nano iPod "classic" if you will.
any chance you remember the seller?
I'm trying to find a somewhat reputable place to buy the battery that's essentially guaranteed to work well for awhile.

I replaced the battery in my first-gen 10GB iPod, using a kit from NewerTech. It was a bitch getting the thing open, but using the provided tools I was able to do it without damage, and once the case was open the battery replacement itself was a breeze. No idea about a nano, though.
