If true, why would they design so in a way that you could easily grease up and smear the screen?

It's no different than the PSP. If you're a slob, buy napkins instead of an iPod.

yeah, but you don't use the psp's screen to control the movie

Think about a PDA. There's some kind of screen protector built-in. When you use your fingers to control it (which I do often), it doesn't really smudge. I'm sure if Apple did something similar, would involve some kind of new patented anti-smudge system.

hmmm...an all touchscreen ipod could be a brilliant move by apple. get the buyers to love it and not care about the fingerprints and in turn mitigating all the past complaints about fingerprints.

hey, if it's ok for the the touchscreen ipod to have fingerprints, it must be ok for the other ipods, right?

BRILLIANT!

its a bad fake... anybody notice that in the first video he moves the wheel but it doesnt do a damn thing in the video... now ff or rw (or increase volume).

its going to have the bar come up with the volume regardless... why would they change the basic navigation of the ipod? All the bars and sliders should be in the same places (just formatted for a widescreen).

Somebody better hope that's real, 'cause I'm giving away my 60GB Video iPod for this new one. HOT!
