ok i been searching mp3 players and i didn't realize how awesome they were

i could practically have an all-in-one device

ok help me find something that obviously produces great sound and to go along with my ATH-A500

things i want: (no price range ATM - i'm still searching)

at least 20gb
easy layout and definitely has to look clean - no ugly players plz
be able to view photos, videos sure ... but i don't really care - definitely pictures tho (i'm not sure but are there mp3 + camera combos?)
voice recorder would be awesome (school purposes)

that's basically all i want, still searching and damn i really want one now, lol

ok i've done a lil bit of searching and thinking over of what i WANT from what REALLY NEED

i'm thinking of cutting out a video option since i really don't wanna be watching a movie on something that small

also, i'm not really into photos so i can definitely exclude that

what i really need:

mp3 obviously
voice recorder is a major plus

so that's basically all i need, lol. got a lil too excited about an all-in-one multimedia device

now time to re-research items that fit my exact needs and find reviews for them, sigh :(

you have a few options. The Creative Zen Sleek, though monochrome, has a good voice recorder and isn't a bad player. It's probably pretty cheap now at the moment. if you wanted to do anythign else on the player, though, such as watch movies or look at photos, then you'd be out of luck.

another option is the Creative Vision:M, but that's just about as expensive as the iPod (all in one media player for about $300, 30gb).

final option isn't released as of yet (at least, i dont think so, or not in US...), it's the Toshiba S series. http://www.engadget.com/2006/01/05/tosh...e-media-center-with-2-4-inch-qvga-lcd/ . despite what you may think, a 2.4 inch screen is actually pretty good for watching movies and videos.
