Ipod 5G can't play podcasts after firmware update

I downloaded itunes7 the other day, works fine for me, even if others seem to be having problems. It did prompt me to update the firmware on my 5G 60GB ipod video to 1.2. I let it and it seemed fine, listened to a bunch of music no problem, but when I went to listen to a podcast it crashed and restarted. The podcast in question was the 1up yours podcast, but the EGM live one also crashes it. I can take the mp3s out of the podcast directory and add them as if they were music and it's fine, but that's not a good long term solution.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
