Does anyone know if/when ATT will start selling the newer Iphone4 revision that Verizon is currently selling. Verizon doesn't provide coverage in my area, so thats not an option and I really don't want to buy an Iphone4 with the antenna problem when I know the dual antenna version that Verizon is selling doesn't have that problem.

My guess is that instead of annoucing an iphone5 this summer, they will announce iphone4 revision as well as a white version, but I have heard nothing either way.

ATT wont get the verizon iphone revision. The next version of iPhone will be out June-ish. I doubt Apple wants to go back and update the ATT version with the next one already in process.

This. I also doubt you will see an official white iphone 4. They'll release a new phone this summber that will (most likely) have the same case and style as the iphone 4, but with upgraded internals including what they did to the Verizon iphone. Hopefully they'll get their white paint issue worked out by then for those that want it, and they'll offer that one in white.

Thanks for the info. I've been delaying but I guess I might as well bite the bullet and get one, otherwise I'll be in a perpetual state of wtf. lol.

It's a great phone. I'm not sure how big your hands are, but I don't find mine to be big yet I find most Apple products too small. This turns out okay because I always want to use a case for the few times I'm an idiot and it takes a spill. It also eliminates any (IMO overblown) antenna issues. I use the Rebel case from switcheasy.com and it's fantastic. It also comes with a lot of goodies if you need them.

The iPhone on Verizon and the iPhone on AT&T are the same inside. The only difference is that the antenna for Verizon was moved and the SIM slot was taken out. Get a case for your iPhone and you won't have antenna problems. Also, iPhone 5 is just around the corner.

Antenna wasn't just moved. The ATT version has one antenna with the three extensions (two tabs on one side and one on the other). The verizon version gained an additional antenna and each has two tabs on each side. I do agree that the case will get rid of the antenna problem, but that extra antenna tab is still nice to have. Also, I have never used a case on any cell that I have owned and would prefer the same for an iphone. Oh well *shrug*

The extra antenna is for CDMA guidelines I believe. Something about having to have 2 antennas for the range that VZ uses.
