How do I get my music files (which I already own) onto my phone. All I see is thru iTunes and haven't figured that out w/o paying.

Unlocked, Jailbroke, 1.1.4, 8GB

AHA,
Jeff

Download the latest version of iTunes, import you current mp3 library, create a playlist (I call mine iPhone), connect the iPhone to your PC via USB cable and it will show up on the left side where all the links are, click that link, click the music tab, click the sync checkbox and check the iPhone playlist box, then click Sync. ;)

Nope...nothing there. Had already checked but checked again, just to make sure.

When you sync in iTunes, how long does your phone say "Sync in progress"? It should take at least a few minutes for it to fully sync. If not, you might want to try a restore of your phone in iTunes.

Figured it out ...thx.

What was wrong with it?

#1....I was not signed in to my iTunes account.

#2....I had not clicked on the "Music" tab at top of iTunes page.

Thx for helping me. I am now enjoying my music from my computer on my iPhone. Now I only need better headphones...LOL.
