I think I've finally found a reason to switch to the iPhone.

According to 11 million plus images indexed by users of dating site OK Cupid, iPhone users get laid twice as often as Android users.

If you're anything like me, you usually think of your pics in terms of content: Here's me smiling. Here's me looking tough. Here's me in Hawaii with that wacky turtle. And so on. Today, however, we'll analyze photography from a numerical angle-we'll discuss flash, focus, and aperture instead. We feel like people don't really think about these things when they choose a profile photo, and yet, as we shall see, their misuse can seriously mess you up.

As always, our data comes from dating site OkCupid, one of the largest, and most interesting, datasets on the web. This article aggregates 11.4 million opinions on what makes a great photo.

At my workplace of ~300 people, there are at least 5 hotties that have Android phones.

No this just means that there are more iPhone losers out there than Android cus there are more iPhone users on a dating website. Also it's not like it's the hottest girls on dating websites anyways. Checked it out right now and majority of them are ugly or fat and use the myspace angles to try to make themselves look better. You iPhone fans can have this win.

All this boils down to is the iPhone being a fashion statement. Android phones appeal to those who either want a device strictly for functionality, or just to play with. iPhones do apply to those same crowds, but furthermore apply to people who simply want to flash it around as a way to say "look at me;" they couldn't care less about what the phone actually does, aside from allowing them to text and update their Facebook.
