When I plugin my wife phone to my computer it installs driver and then asks if I want to import pictures. It then says there are no pictures. I can see the phone in MyComputer but the DCIM folder is empty. Looking online it seems people use different programs for phone to pc. Is that needed or should windows handle it? If needed what should I use?
 
got it to work now after getting iTunes. I didn't see an option in iTunes to download pictures but Windows could access it like a drive. I'm thinking now it might be because I didn't unlock the phone before plugging it in last time.
