Title says it all. Just wondering if there's some kind of setting or other way to stop transferring those .aae files to my PC when transferring images from the phone to the PC? It's annoying, because for some reason, I get a TON of them at times, even if the images weren't edited by me at all (which is what I thought those files were related to). I'd much rather know a way to keep from transferring them, than having to keep manually deleting them every time I transfer photos and vids. I use the basic "photos" app of the PC to transfer them, which seems to be the easiest, most convenient way in my experience. I just don't get why even though I'm not selecting those .aae files to transfer, the phone/PC takes it upon themselves to transfer them anyway. But, if there's a more efficient way that won't transfer those .aae files, I'm all ears.
