I bet at least half of those ended up on ebay.
The PS3 had a great launch too :laugh:Originally posted by: freedomsbeat212
So, the people who were positive it would bomb...

FYI we've been using our two test iPhones pretty much constantly since activating them on Friday (for phone use, not as much for media) and one still had two bars as of this morning (not sure about the other one). Battery life is "pretty f**king good" to quote one of my coworkers.
Looks like it might hold up better than we thought!Originally posted by: JS80
no one denied it wouldn't sell like hotcakes...let's see 1-2 months down the line with people dropping it, bad reception, etc.

Not that I know of. The keyboard so far has been decent, however I'm confused as to why the messaging apps (txt and email) are forced to use the keyboard in portrait mode, while the web browser can use the wider keyboard in landscape mode.Originally posted by: FreshPrince

each iphone has a $79.99/mo plan with a 2 year contract
79.99*24~$2000/iphone in 2 years
$2000*525000=$1.05B just for the iphone itself.
That's a pretty good 3 day sale for any vendor

Nobody (here anyways) cares about using it for corporate email though. This is a consumer device, plain and simple. That said, it really is a groundbreaking device and its gonna set the bar for the next generation of smartphones. Seriously, whenever Photon debuts, I don't think any carrier will shop a device with less than 600mhz cpu, 720x480 res, 128mb RAM, 4gb flash storage, and touch input.
I should clarify that I don't work for corporate IT, I work for a competing carrier! So we have iPhones for "intelligence-gathering" purposes only! 😛Originally posted by: FreshPrince
