iPhone OS 3.1.3 is Live

I didn't see anything here so I figured I'd post it. I've been battling a custom upgrade (documented here: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2047050) and literally when I was in the middle of upgrading to 3.1.2 iTunes says 3.1.3 is available.

incremental update...but its at least an update nonetheless.

however, dont update if you are jailbroken/unlocked! this updates the baseband and even patches the usb exploit in the 3GS/3rd gen ipod touch, so dont do it unless you dont jailbreak! i made that mistake when 3.1/3.1.2 came out and i locked myself out of a unlock until geohot came along.

If you update directly through iTunes you'll lose your jailbreak initially. It sounds like the dev team is working on this already, but I'd recommend you follow them here: http://blog.iphone-dev.org/

They'll give the go ahead and point you in the right direction for what tools to use for whatever version device you have.

depends on what phone you have. i think if you have an iphone 2G or 3G, you're fine, but if you have a 3GS, you wont be able to jailbreak until a new exploit is found.
