iPhone on other carrier(s)?

AT&T is really starting to piss me off and I was wondering if I jailbroke my original EDGE iphone what carrier(s) can I bring it to?

phone calls and edge should work. 3g (however you said your phone was an old iphone so no 3g anyways) will not.

I jailbroke my original iphone and gave it to my gf who is with tmobile. . . as states earlier, no visual voicemail. She doesn't have a data plan so if she were to try to access the itnernet when there's no wifi, she gets a msg saying she doesn't have a data plan. I think that's a good thing cuz that prevents the unknowing accumulation of data charges. She says that the jailbroken os is a bit unstable, prone to crashes and phone hangups. fwiw, she's Firmware v 2.1. I haven't had the time to upgrade to 2.2 yet maybe, that'll help. This is just anecdotal at best so take it for what it is.
