iPhone not storing passwords

My iphone 4S seems to not want to store passwords anymore. The following apps lost their stored password whenever the process is killed or the phone restarted:
sparrow (email)
tweetbot
facebook
alien blue (reddit)
at&t account manager

I have an iPad with all the same apps and everything is working fine. This makes no sense to me. Has anyone ever seen something like this before?
 
try doing "reset all settings" and see if that helps. worst case is that you'll have to backup and restore. never heard of this issue either!
 
I've never come across it either. Did googlinng give you any useful results? I mean you can google almost anything and get a hit, but the question is whether there are a lot of unique instances or just one guy complaining all over the place.
 
No I googled and got nothing related to my problem. Strangely enough it seems to have fixed itself after re-entering the password and restarting the phone 5 times.
