iPhone not ringing for calls anymore

Hi all,

Since upgrading to iOS 6, my phone doesn't ring when someone calls me - my Bluetooth setup in my TSX won't pick it up, the phone won't make noise, the screen only lights up if they leave a voicemail.

I have do not disturb off, and the phone on vibrate. In past, this all worked fine, but I have now missed a total of 7 calls. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks!

I've been having this problem on iOS6 as well. It's intermittent for me, though - one out of every 5 or 10 calls does not ring, but then a couple minutes later I'll get another call and it will ring, so it's not based on location/signal strength/whatever. My phone is on vibrate as well. Interesting.

Maybe try reversing it? Put the phone on DND, but leave the ringer on? See what happens there?

I don't get many phone calls, and of those few I haven't missed any (At least I don't think I have), though my iPhone 4 is set up the same way, DND is Off, Vibrate is On.

I have been having the same issue and it has been very frustrating! I haven't ever done anything with the DND feature but I was also having wi-fi issues and a few other problems since the update. To resolve the wi-fi issue, I just did a hard reset and that worked, luckily. I was still having issues with my phone not ringing. After reading this thread, I turned on the DND feature and then turned it off and now my phone seems to be working perfectly...so far! Good luck!

In addition to this, I have 2 other recurring weird quirks in iOS6:

1. Brightness is low when I turn it on...sometimes. I have it set to max and I turn off the auto adjust, but randomly it will be on low brightness when I hit the home button to wake it up.

2. Sometimes the camera auto-switches to forward-facing when I activate it. Really odd, like the brightness glitch. Just happens sometimes.
