A few months ago I installed an app on my android device called iphone locator. It used my itunes login info and I could basically use it to locate my iDevices. It still works on my android phone but I notice its gone from the google play store. Was it nailed for some reason? I did notice that I would never get an email from apple saying I connected to it via the cloud. Is this SW not legal or something?

I believe Apple only allows finding of an Apple device though other apple devices, so it was probably using a security loophole it wasn't supposed to use. Either it was taken down after somebody reported it, or Apple fixed the loophole and it didn't work anymore so they took it down themselves.

Doubt apple fixed it as it still works from my note 4 to my idevices on 8.4. It does feel kinda shady as it doesnt shoot off an email.
