This game gets pretty awesome reviews, quite a few commented on how difficult it is. But it's average score is very high so I thought it must be worth buying. Well, either it's the hardest game ever or I'm horrible at it. My batting average is like .054. I played the league mode where it just lets you bat once every couple innings. I've managed 2 base hits out of maybe 50 at bats. One time I got a home run and a base hit the same game. I typically go 20-30 at bats without getting on base. Any hit that's not a home run is either caught or I'm always thrown out before I reach 1st base.
I want to like this game, I have given it a solid week. I'm not getting any better, I get lucky and hit once in awhile, but beyond that it seems like I'll never get any better. I'm wondering if anyone here has it and has a pointer? For something that should be so simple this game is frustrating as HELL. I even tried praticing on the home run mode and managed a whopping 1 HR. I'm confused how this game has over 400 4+ star reviews, either I really really suck or people love an impossibly hard game. lol
