iphone for 125, good deal?

I have been playing with my Vibrant at work for the last month or so and a coworker loves it and decided to get one for herself. She has an iphone 3gs 16gb model and I jokingly said i'll give you $125 cash for it and she said ok. Is that a good deal or mediocre? Its in preistine condition and I figured I could use it as a media player or maybe just hack it for tmo or just sell it for more $$$. Its on 4.1 so i dont even know if its rootable. So, worth it or not?
