iPhone & Exchange support via Activesync

Trying to get some info from Apple but they're very vague regarding technical details. Since it uses Activesync, I'm imagining that there's no middleware push server involved but there's no info on this. Also does it support public folders? What are the common limitations?

We probably won't know until software 2.0 comes out. Should be June-ish if I remember correctly.

The current iPhones cannot do this? Even with a firmware update?

2.0 is a firmware update, no iPhones have full exchange support until 2.0, when they all do
