Looking for made in USA options (if the phone can't be made here, at least some rubber/plastic case can be).

I saw this (http://www.shoptrtlbot.com/), but am thinking something similar without the credit card holder?

I also saw an $80 machined aluminum case.. but I don't think I want a metal case.

Just something simple, low profile and rubber/plastic that offers decent protection.

Thanks!

is incase made in the USA? they're freaking godlike. It's $34.95 a pop, but the best damn cases ever. I have yet to find an Android equivalent, and yes I have 2 Droid1 cases, 1xN1 case, and 2x Nexus S cases lying around. Ugh.

Sorry to ruin your whole day, but injection molded rubber and plastic will be shot into the same dies in the USA or China. Why limit yourself?

They look ok but they are freaking expensive for what they are. $40 for a snap case? Thats just silly unless theres something I've not noticed there.

My incase is breaking apart after about 6 months of having it, the plastic is really brittle now. Definitely wouldn't recommend it anymore even though I thought it was really nice when I first got it.

Then buy only Motorola phones and tablets, Ford cars, and only fly on Boeing airplanes.

A phone case is a drop in the ocean.

Well cars aren't a good judge of that anymore... most are made here these days anyway. Did you know the best selling American made brand is Toyota? Well now you do.

He meant that its a US BASED company. Like Apple, but all the crap is made in China.

I don't see how Motorola is any different than Apple. They are both US BASED companies that have stuff assembled in China.

You misread me. I meant both companies have stuff made in China. Not that stuff made in China is crap.

Probably. I have Flu at the mo, I feel like crap. :(

I was trying to make the point that its more important for a company to manufacture its products in the US than to have its head office there.

+1 on the Magpul. Awesome case.
Great at protecting phone from drop impacts, isn't huge, made in USA. Ten bucks from their website or any gun shops carrying them.

Not to make this political, but you are wrong.

If the company is based here, the corporate taxes stay here and therefore millions if not billions go to our government to make our lives better (I know that last part is debatable).

Where the product is manufactured only determines who gets the crappy and low-pay assembly line jobs.

And (hopefully) the savings are passed on to the consumer. Probably why made in america products cost more. We pay workers more.
