I took some photos of the two cases (JETech ; Spigen) that I currently have. I have two more cases coming in (Spigen ; LK), but I'm not sure when they'll arrive at this point as they weren't available through Prime when I ordered them.

After using the Spigen case, I can definitely understand why people don't like the buttons. It's just like my Apple iPhone 5s case's power button... there's no travel to the button and you have no idea if you're actually pushing it.

I might hold off on the Spigen...that looked like my fav. The JET looks pretty similar to what I have now. Thx for the pics :)

here's a bunch of pics of the case i got. it is VERY minimal. i actually wish the front had a little more of a lip. it almost looks like at the top left corner (where the vibrate/ringer switch is) that there isn't any lip there. i think i am going to order the LK one and see how that one is.

the other case in the pics is my LK case for my ip4. so that is how big the ip4 is next to the ip6+. pics taken with the ip4 so sorry for shit quality.

oh, and on the backside with the camera sticking out, it doesn't stick out further than the case. it is flush when sitting on it's back.

I spent more time looking at your beautiful granite than the case lol. Nice :)

alright looking for some feedback in regards to cases.

i'm getting rid of my plus and going to get the normal 6. i messed with the 6 in the store today and it actually felt TOO thin, and the metal back on it made it slippery as well. i never felt like i had a good grip on the phone or that it might just slip out of my hand because it's so slippery and thin.

so those of you who have any of the cases in this thread, do they give it a sticky feeling at all and add any "nice" thickness to the phone to just have a better grip on it?

i was thinking possibly the neo hybrid one from spigen, but the reviews of it are pretty bad because of the buttons, which it appears they are fixing. but it also seems like the mute slider thing is hard to get to from what i read.

just looking for some feedback on the cases you guys have in regards to how they feel in your hand.

This is the same issue I'm experiencing. Wish they would have added some girth to this thing instead of pushing so hard for thin/light.

I ended up ordering this but won't have it for a few more days. Should certainly add some weight but will also hopefully add some grip. Some of the reviewers mention that it's slick while others don't agree. If I find it to be too slippery I'll either try another case or see if I can add something to the back to help with grip.

I got this case and am looking for a replacement. Buttons are a disaster to press.

The thing about the Neo Hybrid is that it's mostly the power button that can be finicky, and it seems to depend on where you push it. It's such a small button that you wouldn't expect it to matter, but I find that if you push it from the bottom (furthest from the screen), it tends to activate properly -- you even get the original button's click!

Spigen is shipping out actuators, but until I get them in, I have no idea how well they work. Another thing that they should fix about the case is how bulky the sides are in regard to the mute toggle. Honestly, it's more difficult than it should be to reach in there and toggle it. They should've considered making it a bit less wide at that point to make it easier to reach in.

Spigen cases seemed to have the best availability ahead of the iPhone 6 launch, so I suspect these problems came from the fact that the cases were designed based on dimensions/specs, but they never really had an iPhone to test in them until it was too late.

Ah well. If it doesn't work out I'll just send it back and find something in store that is acceptable. Cases suck in that regard I suppose. Really difficult to tell from the pictures whether it is going to be truly functional or not.

Keep in mind, as I posted above, that Spigen has identified button sensitivity as an issue and is shipping some kind of button inserts to all their customers to correct this. I've gotten a couple of emails from them about this.

I received the Spigen button stabilizers today. At first I was dismayed because they're just tiny plastic stickers, which seemed ridiculous. But after I applied them I found they worked surprisingly well - the buttons are much improved and you get the click from the underlying button now.

do you all know if the latest spigen cases they are sending out will simply have the new parts in them? i'd assume so but just wanted to be sure.

i'm going to just get the silicon case i have for my ip4 for my 6 and see how i like that at first. only $7 amazon prime anyways so it's not that expensive.

Good to hear. Mine have a label created, but haven't actually shipped yet. The sleep/wake button is pretty annoying.

the reports of bendy iPhone 6s have me worried, because I've sat on my iPhone 5 several times over the past couple years.

What's going to provide best protection against accidental bending, a hard bumper or a hard case?

so i got my $7 LK case today and i am really liking it so far. it's just basically a silicon sleeve that holds the phone, which is basically all i need. it's the case i had for my ip4 for its whole life since feb of 2011 and i never had issues. i dropped it a couple times and had no issues, but in general i take care of my stuff, not using screen protectors or anything.

the only thing i am not to sure about on it is the lip for the front. it is VERY minimal. like there is a gap but it is very very small between the lip the front screen. the lip on the ip4 case was much greater.

i also like how it has "grip sections" on the sides of the phone, making it feel a little sturdier in your hands when holding it.

i took pics of the case on my ip4 just for lip comparisons and the looks comparison (but kind of hard to tell since it's dark) and then took some pics of it on the ip6.

just thought i'd share them if anyone is interested.

I got my stabilizers in from Spigen, and they make quite the difference. The power button went from being near worthless to actually working... so far.

I bought two, a Spigen Neo Metal Hybrid and a cheapo TPU off ebay to use until the Spigen comes in. My phone shipped today and should be here the 3rd. The Spigen won't ship until the 15th so need something to get by until then.

I'm happy with my Neo Hybrid. I'd prefer the metal, but I don't like the logo cutout. Wish they had a version without that.

Same here. The stabilizers seem like nothing, but they make a huge difference. Keeping my 2nd set in case these slip off or stop working.

Bought this for my 6+ while I wait for a decent card case to come along. Using a Card Ninja with it in the meantime. I was mostly worried about the buttons since my previous experience with cases that cover buttons hasn't been very good. But am pretty happy with how easy they are to push. Otherwise, it does it's jobs as a thin, cheap case. If I didn't need a wallet case, I'd probably just use it going forward.

I'd also note that I have my privacy screen protector on and the screen was on when I took these shots. You can kind of tell in the 3rd and 4th pictures where a little bit of the screen light is escaping the side and if you squint really hard the 1st and 2nd pictures you can kind of make out Reddit.
