Hello Everyone,
I recently got the wife a used (but very clean) iPhone 5s and she loves it and actually I think its really nice too.

I have a couple of questions about the OS since I am not used to it. On my last few Androids and my current Android I can get rid of the last few unseen pages by just clicking at the right hand bottom and then click, "Clear All",

so how do I do that with her iPhone 5s? or perhaps it isnt even needed, I dunno.

Is there a go "Back Arrow" (button)? also, what apps do I get, free preferably, LOL, to move her Android pictures and contacts to her new phone?

Thanks everyone I appreciate your time and help as my wife goes into cancer surgery this Tuesday so I came in here to get some help from you guys/gals so she can have fun using her new iPhone. Her Mom and two sisters all have iPhones

So thats why I got her the phone so all of them can have fun together with their iPhones, heck! I'm even thinking about selling my 2 month old LG V10 to get the iPhone 6s.

Thanks again, James

Beware, if they all start using iMessage, they'll never text you again :)

No firmware back button, many programs have a soft button built into the app to go back.

Do you have a computer? Download the photos from the old phone and import them into iCloud.

Similar path with Contacts - export them into, say, a gmail address book and they'll appear when you connect the iPhone to that same gmail account.

Addressing these point by point:

Unfortunately, you can't clear all your notifications at once in iOS 9. Here's hoping iOS 10 (announced in June, likely arriving in September) tackles that. It's not absolutely necessary, but it'd be nice.

Back buttons are built into the apps themselves, not the interface. You can swipe in from the left edge (think of it like turning back a page in a book) in most apps if that's more convenient.

For apps to migrate photos and such? Well, if it's backed up to Google Photos... just use Google Photos! For other things, Apple has an app called Move to iOS on Google Play that should help on the Android device.

And on selling your V10: unless you get a really good deal on the iPhone 6s, I'd wait until the expected iPhone 7 launch (likely in mid-September) if you can hold out. Might as well get the shiny new thing.

The v10 is an excellent phone. Hell, the dac alone is worth keeping it.
