I wouldn't buy an iPhone 5 without NFC but that would have nothing to do with the NFC.

Unless you live in an area with a high adoption rate for NFC I wouldn't let it influence your buying decision.

Nfc is not important but since my sgs2 and sgs3 have it I've been playing around with it. Nifty but useless.

Depeneds, NFC on my galaxy nexus works like 2/10 times.
