So I have my iphone 5 auto lock set to 1 min. Normal operations usually go like this:
1. iphone 5 idles - begin 1 min countdown
2. After 45 seconds or so, dim back light
3. After 15 seconds of dimmed backlight, lock/shut off phone
However, I also notice my phone will prematurely dim the backlight for a second, then undim it:
1. iphone 5 idles - begin 1 min countdown
2. After maybe 5-10 seconds, dim back light
3. After 1 second of dimmed backlight, UNDIM backlight to normal
4. After 30-40 seconds, dim backlight again
5. After 10-15 seconds, lock/shut off phone
It's not a big deal and my phone will still auto lock after 1 min regardless, but sometimes the premature dimming and relighting throws me off and makes me think I got a new text or something.
Does anyone else experience this? I'm running latest iOS and have restarted phone a few times.
