Edit - I find it funny that Android gets NFC, and its basically ignored. Apple talks about bring NFC to a future product, and suddenly its the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I agree. I didn't even know Android devices had NFC. Not that I care if Apple gets it either.

It's because Apple has a bunch of people signed up though iTunes to buy things already, just a tweak, and the good little consumers are buying Starbucks coffee with their iPhones too.
