http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57...ur-unlocked-iphone-4s-to-another-u.s-carrier/
After reading that article, it got me wondering, since every iPhone 4S has identical components, is it possible to enable the CDMA radio on a unlocked GSM iPhone 4S? Likewise, if you unlock a CDMA (Verizon/Sprint) iPhone 4S it will work perfectly on any foreign SIM card, is it possible to enable it to work on US carrier SIM cards? Maybe by some type of software "hack"? Has anyone done it yet? If not, then any ideas on how it could be done? Or why it can't be done? Would jailbreaking make this work (changing basebands)?
I googled and searched this forum for this and didn't really find any answers.
Also, anyone know a good place to buy quality OEM iPhone replacement parts?
