iPhone 4 Upgrade Fee?

So for those who have upgraded to the new phone, did you have a $18 upgrade fee? I just checked through att.com.

I know Costco's kiosk will wave many-a-fees but I don't think they'll carry the iPhone.

You know, it is odd. When I texted that 'upgrade checker' phone number AT&T put out, it said I was going to have to pay the $18. However, I never got any $18 fee on my AT&T bill and when I got the phone at the Apple store the total was $210 ($199 plus tax), so I am not sure if I got lucky or what.
