Stopped vibrating altogether. I put it on silent and no more vibrate from it going to silent. No vibrate when ringing. It's been going on for a while because I've been like, "What the heck? I haven't felt it at all! I am really getting desensitized to this..."

Possibly iPhone 4 motor broke I guess? It's jailbroken. What do I do to get it returned? I want there to be no trace, ya know?

Is there no factory reset option for iPhones? My Nokia/SE phones have always kept a compressed repository of the OS and software in onboard flash memory so that you can completely clean the phone out so to speak and get everything back if it gets screwed up or you delete themes or games or whatnot that you want back.

Factory reset ain't working. I keep getting an error. Even worse... D: I think it's because I am trying to use the old firmware(4.2.1) instead of 4.3.1. Apple has to validate it and stuff. Whatever.

there is a bug with the 4.3.1 jailbreak that effects the vibration when you switch the toggle from ring to silent. I didn't think it stopped vibration altogether though. I guess it's easy enough to verify by sending myself a text and an email. I did verify that it screwed up the toggle though.

I was using 4.2.1...

Maybe a dumb question but i didnt see it brought up. There is a SETTING that turns vibration on and off while silent is on. Did that get enabled somehow?

Nope. Guy took the phone, ran a diagnostic and then gave me a new phone.

Apple will usually replace anything as long as you didn't obviously break it. At least it's fixed now. S--t happens.
