So I just go a iphone 4g a few weeks ago and I noticed my phone has atennagate. I have a case so it really doesn't cause a issue but I was under the assumption that this problem was fixed buy the end of September?

Are their any new iphone 4g buyers with the same problem?
Would it be a hard time exchanging it apple? it hasn't been 30 days yet.

Can you post a pic of your phone's antennagate? ...just kidding.

it is a hardware issue...the only fix is a redesign.

Are you sure the phone you purchased was manufactured after September?

It shouldn't change the fact that to the best of my knowledge, there was never a full redesign, or anything to actually correct the problem. Not even a clear coat on the stainless steel.

Nothing was changed... all they did was mess with the bar to signal display so the phone displays more bars in low signal areas

Also, is this really being compared to watergate? People are seriously fucked in the head.

Agreed. Can we stop with the stupidly overused *gate terms?

Actually....

Apple corrected the signal strength so that the iPhone displays the correct amount of bars. Coincidentally the correct amount of bars is actually less bars, but Apple made the bars physically fatter.

The iPhone 4 is sometimes called the iPhone 4G because it is the 4th Generation iPhone. It is not used to denote 4G internet.
