iPhone 3G insurance options?

I'm guilty for accidentally dropping my phone. It's happened many, many times. I really do need a way of insuring my phone from accidental damage. Also, I've had an iPod stolen from me before, so I wouldn't doubt that my iPhone will be a target. I want some piece of mind.

So what are some insurance options that you guys could recommend?

If you have homeowners insurance, it can be added as a rider with your personal articles policy. That's what my wife and I do for all our electronics. $0 deductable and for 8-10k worth of stuff, its only $150/yr with State Farm. Covers it from anything, even accidental.

You may even be able to get a separate personal articles policy without homeowners, but not sure, I think its just easier if you do.

I remember when the iPhone first came out reading that people were able to get a policy taken out from State Farm covering it for like $100 for a year. I may be wrong on the company but I know the rest was right cause I thought about it but ultimately decided against it cause I am normally very careful with my cellphones, and have been even more so when I purchased my iPhone.

Make sure you get a good case and that should cover you for the normal accidental drop. My friend has dropped hers a couple of times while it was in the case and you wouldn't even know it has been dropped
